My son inspired a product and my childhood nick name gave me my business name.  This business took me on an incredible journey, that I will be forever grateful for.  After, the birth of my son a new product was born out of necessity, due to his horrible acid reflux he was born with.  My husband and I hated the current burp cloths that were available on the market.  We would always say “I hate this burp cloth, because they don’t stay on place” when burping and feeding our son. But, when my husband and I were tired of being covered in spit up and changing clothes almost after every feeding.  That is when ingenuity and desperation really sank in and gave us the desire to solve the current problem more than anything.

The problem was, that our son would spit up so much it was a constant battle keeping his bottle down. Until, I said one said one day…I wish they would make burp cloths that were the size of a shirt; and that phrase started my design process.  That simple idea steamed rolled into something incredible, bigger than I could ever dream of. This company, the patent, and the development of several original products; has been one of my biggest accomplishments.     

The development of Bee Bear was such a labor of love and I enjoyed every moment.  From the invention of the original product – The Baby Sleeve, to  sourcing of all materials, managing the manufacturing process, working and managing my booth at the Dallas Market Center.  This was such a wonderful and creative process, but due to Covid life shifted and I pressed pause on this wonderful company.
